PrecisionLender Announces 2020 Purposeful Banker Award Winners

PrecisionLender names Bank of the Year, Banker of the Year, and Philanthropic Bank of the Year award winners for 2020.

CHARLOTTE, NC (June 25, 2020) – PrecisionLender®, a Q2 Holdings, Inc. company and a leading sales and coaching solution for commercial banks, today announced the winners of the Fourth Annual Purposeful Banker Awards. The Purposeful Banker Awards recognize commercial banks and bankers in the industry who have performed well, made advancements in digital transformation within their bank, and have given back to their communities in an extraordinary way. The awards are in conjunction with BankOnPurpose, the premier global event for commercial banking executives.

Banker of the Year recognizes a commercial relationship manager who has shown great success and results in their everyday duties and who has built strong customer relationships. This year’s winner is Scott Struby of First United Bank, headquartered in Durant, OK. Struby closed $206.4 million in commercial loans, while taking a customer-first approach and acting as a trusted resource within his community.

Bank of the Year recognizes a financial institution that carried out a tremendously successful innovation project within the past couple of years. The 2020 winner is Tri Counties Bank, headquartered in Chico, CA. Tri Counties recently implemented PrecisionLender and a LOS system and has produced strong results in loan and deposit growth since starting their digital transformation journey.

Most Philanthropic Bank of the Year recognizes a bank that has made a big social impact within their community in the past year. This year’s winner is Alpine Bank, headquartered in Glenwood Springs, CO. In 2019, Alpine Bank donated a record $4.7 million to Colorado communities, and employees volunteered more than 14,000 hours with local nonprofits. Under its unique Loyalty Debit Card program, each time a customer uses their debit card, Alpine donates 10 cents to support local nonprofits and community organizations, and those dimes really add up. This popular program generated a record $1.6 million in local donations by the bank in 2019.
