Best-selling authors and industry thought leaders Roy Spence and Lisa McLeod will speak at the inaugural BankOnPurpose conference as part of the first day on April 21, 2016.
Hosted by PrecisionLender, the conference aims to offer the banking industry a new perspective on how a customer-centric foundation generates better performance and increases profitability. Both Spence and McLeod will be speaking Thursday morning in Austin, TX on purpose, leadership, and best business practices.
Spence will begin the morning speaking on the power of purpose in both business and life, a topic explored in his best-selling collaboration with Haley Rushing, “It’s Not What You Sell, It’s What You Stand For: Why Every Extraordinary Business is Driven by Purpose.” As Co-Founder and CEO of The Purpose Institute, Spence has worked with major organizations including Southwest Airlines, Walmart, and BMW to help them discover and live their purpose.
Following Spence’s presentation, Lisa McLeod will be discussing the importance of putting purpose into practice and having a strong leadership team. McLeod is predominantly known for her conception of the popular “Noble Purpose” business concept. She’s worked with industry leaders Apple, Pfizer, and Google to help increase revenue, accelerate sales, improve company culture, and spark customer engagement. McLeod is also the author of the best-seller and #2 CEO Read “Selling with Noble Purpose: How to Drive Revenue and Do Work That Makes You Proud.”
